What's included in the price?
Every quote includes the map data, licensing, and the finished PDF with toggle-able overlay layers. There are no separate charges added on top of your confirmed quote for the agreed scope of work. If additional work or amendments are required following the initial instruction, this will be quoted for as a fixed price or an hourly rate.
Do you produce plans for unregistered land?
Yes — first registration plans are one of our core services, along with plans for boundary determination, adverse possession, and similar unregistered-land matters.
What format will I receive the plan in?
A single PDF with toggle-able overlay layers, so you can switch individual data layers on or off as needed for your purposes.
Can you work from a scanned plan, photo, or sketch?
Yes. If you have an existing plan, photo, or screenshot, email it to hello@landplans.co.uk quoting your name, and we'll match it to your enquiry — this often helps us quote faster and more accurately.
Can you overlay multiple transfer scans to view simultaneously?
Yes — we can overlay as many scans as needed, and the transparency can be varied to view several scans simultaneously. Each scan can be an individual layer which can be toggled on or off.
Can the plans be used to assist with pre-transaction due diligence?
Yes, absolutely — we recommend using the plans as a comprehensive tool as part of your title investigations, compliance, local searches, and utilities checks where necessary.
What if my job turns out to be more complex than expected?
Our starting prices assume a straightforward job. If your instruction involves additional complexity — extra data layers or similar — we'll confirm this clearly as part of your quote before any work begins, but if instructions change then additional amendments will be quoted for.
Do you offer same-day turnaround?
Yes, subject to availability. Same-day instructions generally need to be placed by 11am — get in touch as early as possible if your deadline is tight.
Are your plans Land Registry compliant?
Yes — every plan is produced to HM Land Registry specification as standard, however we strongly recommend solicitors satisfy themselves on the final plans' compliance, particularly if they are using them for various types of application.
Do you need an account to get a quote?
No. There's no account or login required — just complete the short form on our homepage or send us an email and we'll come back to you directly.
Do you carry out measured or topographical surveys?
We do not currently offer this service, but it is generally more economical for the client to obtain their own survey from a local company, and we would be happy to use this data as part of our instructions. As with this and OS data, we cannot be responsible for its accuracy.
